  1. The city of residence, off-campus or on-campus residence also plays an important role in determining the cost of living.
  2. In Toronto, around Rupees 40,000 are required for the off-campus residence, which can be shared with the roommates. Rupees 10,000 to 30,000 may be required for food and groceries. And another 10,00 Rupees for other expenses. These expenses are calculated per month. That means around 50,000 to 70,000 Rupees per month, and 6 lakhs to 8 lakhs per year.
  3. Whereas, in the University of British Columbia, around 14 lakhs are required for the cost of living including the tuition and non-tuition fees per year.
  4. In the University of Waterloo, an International student will need around 50,000 rupees per month on campus. And only Rupees 36,000 by living off campus but near the University, considering low cost for transportation.
