University of Windsor in Canada

The University of Windsor is well-known for its beautiful and distinctive setting. It is located in Canada’s southernmost city (Windsor), which is adjacent to the busiest international border checkpoint in North America. The institution also has a view of the Detroit River, which is enhanced by the city’s favourable weather.

With more than 16,000 undergraduate and graduate students, UWindsor is a “holistic, student-focused institution.” It now has about 500 faculty members, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 26:1. Class sizes range from moderate to small, ensuring a friendly learning environment.

It became the first independent degree-granting school in southwestern Ontario in 1963, and it currently has a campus that spans 51 hectares. The institution is also connected with a number of other schools, including Assumption University, Canterbury College, and Iona College, all of which provide faith based education.

University of Windsor Application Fee

Students entering undergraduate programs via the OUAC portal must pay a non-refundable fee of CAD 156 for their first three program selections. A cost of CAD 50 is applied to each extra option, plus a CAD 10 International Service Fee.

UWindsor’s Supplemental Document Evaluation Fee is CAD 50. A non-refundable fee of CAD 75 is required for students applying directly to UWindsor via the UWindsor International Application website. Graduate programs, on the other side, have a non-refundable application cost of CAD 125.

Bachelor of Computer Science 

The curriculum provides students a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computers and other subjects. It exposes students to different aspects of computer science. Artificial Intelligence, Game Development, Multimedia, and Networks & Security are the many areas of specialization.

Bachelor of Commerce in Honours Business Administration 

The curriculum starts with two years of organized study in all lines of business, as well as economics and mathematical courses. Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Science, Marketing, and Strategy & Entrepreneurship are the six functional areas students may specialise in.

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Economics)

The University of Windsor offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Economics degree. This program is for those who intend to learn about economics and prepare for a career in the field. Students will be able to modify their education, mix it with other studies, and participate in research.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours)

The University of Windsor’s MASc in Industrial Engineering is a two-year full-time degree in Canada. Students complete four graduate-level courses and a thesis as part of this research-based program. University of Windsor Supply Chain Management

The Master of Management – Logistics and Supply Chain Management program is a course-based program that will educate graduates for leadership roles in the broad area of Supply Chain Management. The program consists of 12 specified courses that must be completed over four academic semesters. During their first semester of classes, students will attend a Business Communications Workshop on campus.

Master of Engineering Management 

The Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Odette School of Business, offers a program that trains engineers for management positions. Students must finish eight courses and a capstone project in engineering management related to their speciality areas. It enables working professionals to complete their master’s degrees without having to leave their jobs.

MSc in Computer Science

The University of Windsor’s School of Computer Science provides a Co-op option for the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science. Students acquire a practical understanding of cutting-edge software development technologies while working at software businesses in Canada and overseas as part of the program’s curriculum.
