Yale University Admission Requirements for Undergraduate International Students. 

Students applying to Yale need to submit an ACT score or SAT score with the application. The scores from these exams are valid for a period of 5 years. The average score requirement is 33 – 35 in ACT and a SAT score of 720770 in evidence based reading and writing and a SAT score of 730 – 790 in mathematics. Students are required to submit the following documents for their undergraduate admission process:

  • Academic Transcripts (Certificates)
  • Passport Copy
  • A Letter of Recommendation from a Counsellor 
  • Two Letters of Recommendation from a teacher
  • Mid-Year Report from School (the scores of which should be updated by a school counsellor preferably)

Yale University Admission Requirements for Graduate International Students 

The various graduate schools at Yale offer over 2000 courses to students. Different courses at Yale have different requirements, different application processes and application fees. There are separate portals for different courses. Students can file their application depending on the program they select from the respective school’s website.

Yale University Campus

The central campus of Yale is located in downtown New Haven and covers an area of 260 acres. It comprises the main historic campus and another medical campus just next to the Yale-New Haven Hospital.
