AIIMS

AIIMS, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, is an online entrance examination for selecting candidates for admission to the undergraduate professional medical degree course.

About 15 AIIMS campuses in India choose candidates for their courses through AIIMS, a short form of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The exam will be conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi and is a national exam.

The various AIIMS institutes are located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Patna, Raipur and Bhubaneshwar. 

Registration Process

The registration for AIIMS PG is done through two stages, namely, basic and final registration.

There are is a 6 step process for online registration and all of them must be completed before the deadline mentioned in the advertisement. Any type of incomplete information or an application with the wrong information will be immediately rejected.

If you are a candidate trying to fill an application and have any confusion/doubts, or queries, you can send an email to [email protected] from your registered email id, along with particulars of your registration form.

Basic Registration

Step 1:

Fill the correct basic details like Full Name, DOB, Category, Gender, Email, Contact No. and others so that you will get your login credentials.

After this step, you will get SMS and an email informing you about your AIIMS registration along with your login credentials.

However, if you do not receive any SMS or email(happens sometimes), always feel free to call on the toll-free number 1800117898 immediately.

After you receive your credentials, use the login information for logging in the first time, and change the password to your choice but the length of the password should be between 6-10 characters. Treat this password as you would treat any other passwords as well, which means do not share or fail to remember.

After this process, a page named ‘My page’ will be generated with some of the fields already filled with the information that you have provided before. This page will provide you with due steps, mentioning about deadlines, admit cards, etc.

Step 2:

You must have already been notified during the release of the notification about the requirement of scanned photographs, signature and thumb impression.

At the beginning of this process, you need to upload those images one by one in their designated field and mentioned format.

All the images should be in jpg/jpeg format.

The digital size of the photograph must be between 50kb-100kb, while for the signature and left thumb impression it must be between 20kb-100kb. Without fulfilling all these requirements, your application process will fail to move ahead.

After you successfully submit this application, it will be screened and if found no error, it will be accepted and you can then move forward to the final application process.

Final Registration

You must read al the prospects of the final registration before moving forward.

Step 1: Fill the Qualification and Address details correctly

Step 2: Application Fee must be done through online mode, after which you need to take a printout of the payment receipt for future references.

Step 3: Choose an examination centre or city according to your convenience. Choose carefully since you won’t be able to change it later.

Step 4: Take a print out of the Application form, it is important and essential. After submission, you will not have a chance to change or modify the application process. After this, you will need to send a hardcopy of the application form or any other document to the examination section, AIIMS.
