Gujarat Technological University exams are over and students are anxiously waiting for GTU 2019-20 Result BA 1st, 2nd, 3rd Final Year Examinations. The Student needs to visit frequently to check for the update on the result.

Gujarat Technological University

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is a State University with 486 colleges affiliated to it. It is a premium research university aiming to make it a World Class University and has achieved to become “International Innovative University“. The inward flow of enrolling applications is pretty high in various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research, Doctoral, and Diploma courses.

The board of GTU semester exams is conducted in 2 parts, even semester takes place in November and December, and odd semester takes place in May and June. As per the result history of GTU, all of the results including Diploma and Degree courses are declared within one month of examination. 

  1. GTU has emerged as an International Innovative University and has introduced certain methods of interactive learning known as “Active Learning”, an online classroom.
  2. It has the largest International Experience Program in collaboration with the universities of the US, Canada, China, and Germany.
  3. It is well-known for the “Research Week”, a unique concept, where the dissertations of various students belonging to the Master’s and Doctoral courses get evaluated. 
  4. Post-Graduate research centers are actively involved in several national and international projects.
  5. The main objective of the Gujarat Technological University is to convert it into a world-class university. 

GTU Admin Panel

GTU Admin panel is where new posts, categories, tags, links are created, and it is responsible for adding widgets or activating/updating plugins. GTU Admin panel is a website divided into several departments.

The user needs to select his respective department, input the username and password, and complete the process by entering the captcha. Once the user has gotten access to the GTU admin panel portal, he or she can create new job posts, articles, and publish results online.

GTU Info

In 2017, GTU launched its official app on play store as “GTUInfo” that serves as the all-in-one online portal. GTU Info has exam papers for several years, syllabus, result, circular, and time table. 

The pieces of information from different departments are divided sector-wise. It has received a lot of mixed reviews from its users with a rating of 4.1 in 2020.

GTU Result

GTU result can be searched by using the respective student name and enrollment number. Mark Sheet is given individually to the students of their respective departments, and the GTU result is published on their official website. As per the result history of GTU, it is one of the most active universities in Gujarat.

GTU Result 2019-20

Currently, GTU results for Remedial and Regular courses for both summer and winter sessions are released in their official GTU results website. The GTU declares the result for winter session some around February to April every year

GTU Convocation

GTU Convocation is a ceremony where students and teachers mutually acknowledge each other while bidding farewell. GTU has a rich way of acknowledging their pass out students, GTU Convocation takes place for every batch. But, students need to apply for the GTU Convocation, and there are certain norms. 

  1. Students need to pay INR 300 for Diploma, INR 500 for Degree, and INR 1000 for Ph. D. while filling up the form.
  2. The students who have cleared all the norms for the award of the degree/diploma, have to fill an application form. 
  3. Students need to submit their application forms online. 
  4. The forms are available on their official website in “Student Zone” under the Convocation section.
  5. The university may select some applicants who apply for an “in-person” convocation. The selection procedure depends upon the applicant’s CGPA. 
  6. The students are requested to visit the website regularly to get the latest updates based on the convocation. 
  7. The list of the students selected for “in-person” convocation will be available 15 days before the date of the convocation. 

GTU Ph.D.

In the case of GTU Ph.D. candidates, GTU organizes an entrance test every year for the students who are willing to take admission to the Ph.D. program. GTU Ph.D. form can be filled up to July 2020, and read the document before applying.

The commencement of the application will take place in April 2020, and the aspirants need to check the official website of GTU regularly. GTU Ph.D. is sectioned in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Philosophy, Management, and Computer Science.

  1. Applicants need to pay a minimum fee for submitting the form, and the payment should be done online using GTU-Online SBI Gateway.
  2. Save the application for future purposes.
  3. The minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the Ph.D. program is a Master’s degree or a professional degree equivalent to the Master’s Degree. 
  4. The Entrance Test for the Ph.D. program consists of MCQs having 1 mark for each with no negative marking.
  5. The semester fee for UR candidates per semester is INR 12,000, and for SC/ST candidates, the semester fee is INR 10,000. 
  6. This is Evaluation fee for both categories is INR 8000.

CGPA to Percentage GTU

The formula to convert CGPA to percentage for GTU under the norms of GTU is % = ((SPI\CPI\CGPA)-0.5)*10. Students can use this percentage to fill up forms for Scholarship, Education loans, etc. 

  • SPI – Semester Performance Index is calculated in every semester.
  • CPI – Cumulative Performance Index is calculated using credit of all subjects and grades achieved by the student. 
  • CGPA – Cumulative Grade Point Average is based upon the average score of all the SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) /SPIs altogether.

How to find the enrollment number of GTU students?

Ans. The GTU Enrollment number is a 12 digit number.
1. The first  2 digits of enrollment numbers represent the year in which you got admission. ( Eg. if you joined in 2019 it will be 19.)
2. The next 3 digits of the enrollment number represent the code of your college in which you got admission.
3. The next 2 digits represent the stream code or course code. like B.E, M.E, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MCA, MBA, etc.
4. The next 2 digits will be your branch code. (i.g. mechanical, EC, IT, electrical, etc.)
5. The Last 3 digits of your enrollment number will be according to merit in your collage particularly in your classroom. 

How to convert CGPA into Percentage in gtu?

Ans. The formula to convert CGPA to percentage for GTU under the norms of GTU is % = ((SPI\CPI\CGPA)-0.5)*10. Students can use this percentage to fill up forms for Scholarship, Education loans, etc.

How to pass easily in GTU exam?

Ans. The GTU exam is not that difficult to pass. To Pass the external GTU Exam easily, here are some tips.
1. Understand the paper format by going through the past year’s papers. You will get an idea about it.
2. If you are able to memorize the theory part, you should have to learn diagrams and figures. That will help you in the exam in writing.
3. Remember to go through last year’s paper. That will definitely help you.
