Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program ( SINP ) is a program that helps in immigration to Saskatchewan, Canada. Skilled and experienced workers can receive Saskatchewan provincial nomination certificate. This will further allow them to apply for permanent residency. The Government of Saskatchewan makes the final decision.

SINP Application Process

The SINP application process can vary for different categories. The application process for applying for SINP under International Skilled Worker and Saskatchewan Experienced Worker is mentioned below.

  • Fill the forms for the category correctly.
  • Obtain all required and necessary documents.
  • If applying with job offer, make a new account and apply online.
  • If the application invitation in under EOI, one can use the same account to apply online.
  • Fill the necessary details and upload the scanned copy of documents.
  • Pay the application fee.
  • All the dependents must be included in the form 

SINP International Skilled Worker

Interested ones can apply for SINP under the category International Skilled Worker. Given below are the eligibility criteria who want to apply for SINP by occupation in demand in Saskatchewan.

  • It is for skilled workers who are trained in an on demand job in Saskatchewan.
  • The person must score at least 60 in the SINP assessment grid.
  • Have completed educational degree that can be compared to Canada’s degree.

SINP Worker with Experience

SINP worker with experience is one of the categories that people can apply under. It is one of the popular choice for many.

  • SINP Worker with Experience is for people from other nations.
  • It is for people who have worked and gained experience in Saskatchewan.
  • Students who have completed post secondary education from Canada can apply for SINP under this category.

SINP Entrepreneur and Farm

The category Entrepreneur and Farm is for people who want to settle in Saskatchewan and work independently. 

  • Entrepreneurial international graduates can immigrate to Saskatchewan under this category.
  • Farm owners who want to buy farms and settle in Saskatchewan can also apply under this category.
  • For entrepreneurs, Expression of Interest must be submitted and if selected, a business establishment plan must be provided.
  • Under farm owners category, experienced farmers having enough capital to buy and run farms in Saskatchewan can apply. Financial documents showing net worth of 500 000 Canadian Dollars must be shown. Documents proving experience as a farm owner will also be required.

1. Who can apply for SINP?

SINP has 3 categories under which people can apply. A person who wants to work in Saskatchewan or one who is already working there can apply for SINP. 

2. How long does SINP application take?

There is a 30 day window for accepting the nomination. Once permanent residency is offered, the application has be submitted within 60 days.

3. Can I change my job after SINP approval?

Yes, you can change the job but you will have to reapply for SINP approval if the previous employer was a nominee. SINP via job offer is tied with that job with which one has applied.

4. How much is SINP application fee?

The SINP application fee is 350 Canadian Dollars and is non refundable.
