Tu Darmstadt stands for the Technical University of Darmstadt. TU Darmstadt is a university of research in the city of Darmstadt, Germany. TU Darmstadt was founded in 1877.

This university also received the right to award doctorates in 1899. Not only this, Tu Darmstadt is also the first University in the world who started electrical engineering in the year 1882.
