Alexander College

Alexander College was founded in the year 2006 under the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is a private post-secondary institution approved by the BC Ministry of Education to provide The Associate of Arts degree. The college has been named after Sir Alexander Mackenzie. 

Alexander College has two urban campuses with more than 10,000 students in it. The one in the Burnaby and the other in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The main aim of Alexander College focuses on developing the English language skills of the students, along with their academic performance.

Alexander College Vancouver

Alexander College’s Vancouver campus is situated centrally in the heart of downtown Vancouver on the Seymour and Hastings Streets, nearby the Waterfront Skytrain, Vancouver. There are so many facilities on the Vancouver Campus, including classrooms, science labs, library, bookstore and writing and learning center.

Alexander College’s Burnaby campus is located centrally in the Great Vancouver Regional District. It is situated on the corner of McKay Street and Kingsway nearby the Metrotown Skytrain Station. The Burnaby Campus has so many facilities, including classrooms, science labs, library, bookstore and writing and learning center.

Alexander College IELTS requirement

Alexander College fixes an eligibility criterion based on the grades obtained from the exams such as IELTS or PTE and also the 12th standard GPA of a minimum of 65% on all subjects. The student should have acquired a minimum of 6.0 with no band lower than 6.0 in IELTS and also 60 in PTE.

  • Associate of Arts Business is a two-year program that offers 21 courses with 64 credits. This program includes mostly economics and commerce.
  • Associate of Science is also a two-year program that includes 20 courses with 60 credits in total, which focuses mainly on Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The students can find employment in Research, Laboratory Technology, and Information Technology.
  • The University Transfer program is for the students who want to complete a bachelor’s degree from a Canadian University through Alexander College for their first two-years.
