In 1955, the School of Engineering in Poznan was transformed into Poznan University of Technology, by the Ordinance of the Minister of Higher Education. The university offers Bachelors’sBachelors’s, Masters and Doctoral programs in 31 fields of study. Its home to about 16,000 students, employs over 1,000 academic staff, and has 324 labs. The university is a 9faculty institution of higher education. 

The faculty of Chemistry (now Chemistry Technology) was created in 1968, and that of Technical Physics was created in 1997. The faculty of Architecture was created in 1999, and that of Computing and Management was created in 2001. The faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications was created in 2006.

  1. The deadline for electronic registration of international students enrolling for the full-time programs starting from the winter semester is 13th August 2020.
  2. The deadline for electronic registration of international students enrolling for the part-time programs starting from the winter semester is 31st August 2020.
  3. The deadline for electronic registration of international students enrolling for the full-time programs starting from the summer semester is 30th November 2020.
