What Are the IIHM Fees in 2026?
IIHM does not publish tuition fees on its official website or in its 2026 prospectus. The only fee stated officially is Rs 600 for the application form and prospectus. Course fees must be obtained from the campus admission office, and IIHM lists tie-ups with SBI, Axis and HDFC for education loans.
Fee figures for IIHM circulate widely on third party college listing sites, but none of those numbers appear on any IIHM page or in the official 2026 prospectus. Because aggregator fee data is frequently stale or wrong, the only reliable route is to request the current fee schedule directly from the campus you are applying to.
IIHM states in its 2026 prospectus that it has tie-ups with the State Bank of India, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and other banks for education finance covering IIHM course fees. IIHM also says it offers scholarships in the form of tuition fee exemptions and special awards, though it does not publish the amounts.

What Is the Young Chef Olympiad?
The Young Chef Olympiad is a culinary competition for student chefs organised by IIHM. The twelfth edition ran from 1 to 6 February 2026 across Indian host cities including Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Jaipur, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Goa and Siliguri, judged by chefs such as Sanjeev Kapoor and Chris Galvin.
The Young Chef Olympiad sits alongside other IIHM initiatives, including International Hospitality Day on 24 April and the IIHM International College of Distinguished Fellows, which the institute says brings together 350 senior hospitality professionals as mentors and teachers.
Are IIHM Placements Good?
IIHM states that its graduates enjoy an outstanding employment record, with campus recruiters including Marriott, Hyatt, ITC, Taj, Oberoi, Leela, Radisson and Accor, plus airlines, cruise lines and retail brands. IIHM does not publish verified placement percentages or median salary data, so treat any 100 percent placement claim with caution.
The recruiter list in the 2026 prospectus spans Indian hotel groups such as the Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Leela and Lemon Tree, international properties in Edinburgh, Dubai and the Maldives, airlines including Emirates, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa, and cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Carnival and MSC. Non hotel employers listed include Thomas Cook, Deloitte and Reliance.
IIHM is not ranked in the National Institutional Ranking Framework, because NIRF 2025 does not run a hospitality or hotel management category. Its 17 categories cover areas such as Overall, Universities, Colleges, Engineering, Management, Medical and Law, so the absence of an IIHM rank is not a quality signal either way.
