MBBS in USA Syllabus

MBBS in USA syllabus includes various subjects like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, Medicine, Forensic, Genetics, Community Medicine and so on.

  • English Language Proficiency Test:

In order to study MBBS in USA, students need to provide proof for English language proficiency by appearing for either TOEFL, IELTS or PTE. These tests have different scoring patterns and schemes.   • MCAT:

Medical College Admission Test tests the aptitude of students on the basis of various parameters. It is mandatory to appear for this test in order to apply for an MBBS.

There are two tests involved. The computer-based exam comprises multiple-choice questions that examine aptitude, reasoning and comprehension skills of potential candidates. The exhaustive exam is conducted only 15 times a year and is seven and a half hours long. The maximum score is 528 for a total of six sections and 500 is the median score

It is mandatory for Indian students to appear for the National Eligibility Exam and clear it with the minimum score requirement to pursue MBBS in the USA.
