Spread over 125 acres, it has ecological lagoons, wetland systems, landscaped gardens and a 40-acre on-campus teaching vineyard. Facilities include the Canadian Food and Wine Institute, the NC Teaching Greenhouse, Spa, Brewery and Winery, and the Marotta Family Complex with a gymnasium, agri-food research labs, classrooms, a food-sciences and processing lab, a green-roof water-retention system and electric-vehicle charging. A benchmark restaurant serving student-made food, wine and beer is open to the public, alongside a bookstore, library, residence, health centre and cafeteria.
