Eligibility Criteria AtPolitecnico di Torino

The eligibility criteria at Politecnico di Torino is as follows: 

Bachelor of Science

  1. High school diploma acquired after at least 12 years of schooling
  2. For countries where an admission test to the university is compulsory, a certificate attesting that the exam was passed is necessary 
  3. Language requirements:
    • Courses taught entirely/partially in Italian: 
      1. PLIDA B1 or higher for courses conducted entirely in Italian
      2. Level B2 or higher for courses where 1st year is taught in English and the remainder in Italian
    • Courses taught entirely/partially in English: 
      1. IELTS – 5.5 or above
      2. PEARSON – 59 or above
      3. TOEFL IBT – ≥72 
      4. TOEIC – Listening: 400, Reading: 385, Speaking: 160, Writing: 150
      5. CAMBRIDGE Assessment English – ≥160

Master of Science

  1. A Bachelor degree awarded by an accredited foreign university 
  2. Meet curricular requirements of the MS program you want to apply for. Requirements per course can be checked on the Politecnico di Torino website.
  3. Language requirements:
    1. Courses offered in Italian or partially in Italian/English: IELTS 5.5 or higher + PLIDA B1 or higher 
    2. Courses offered in English: IELTS 5.5 or higher
