Master of Education or M.Ed. is a Postgraduate course which deals with the methodology of educational research and experimentation of new techniques of teaching. This course particularly introduces you to new levels of teaching processes. Students who have successfully qualified their bachelors of education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. The subjects of study are theories and practices of elementary education, technological tools of today's classrooms, introductory courses in how children learn, insight into child psychology and cognitive development, analyses of popular children’s literature, and identification of teaching methods and practices that are most appropriate and effective for young learners. The students also have to undergo a teacher internship that would extend a teaching experience under direct supervision.
