Overview 

B.EL.Ed. course curriculum has been designed to prepare individuals for teaching careers at public and private elementary and middle schools. The subjects of study are theories and practices of elementary education, technological tools of today's classrooms, introductory courses in how children learn, insight into child psychology and cognitive development, analyses of popular children’s literature, and identification of teaching methods and practices that are most appropriate and effective for young learners. The students also have to undergo a teacher internship that would extend a teaching experience under direct supervision. B.El.Ed. students are extended training in evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, preparing progress reports, communicating with parents through conferences and other means, discussing students’ progress, interpreting the school program, and encouraging students to join extracurricular activities such as clubs, student organizations, and academic contests.

B.El.Ed. course focuses on topics such as – communication skills, teaching skills, human and child development, subject-wise knowledge and relevant theory classes/courses. The academic program is a holistic mixture of traditional classroom lectures and hands on practical sessions.

Exams required

There are different English proficiency test based on the university. Generally we require a TOEFL/IELTS for study in UK and SAT for studying in USA. However certain universities gets satisfied with your English proficiency by taking interviews or by seeing your certificate in English studies in your high school. Course details
