Requirements and Eligibility

To take admission in this course one must have done their 12th class from science stream with 50% or more and must have done their Graduation in Optometry or B. Sc. in Optometry from a recognized institution and must have scored an average of 50% to undertake the entrance test. Admissions can also be direct, however, that depends on the discretion of the university one is applying to. 

Admission Procedure 

There are many institutions which hold their own admission tests and give admission according to the cut of they set themselves. One of such entrance exam is All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Optometry Test. Other universities hold similar entrance tests too.
