The university is named after the former Queensland Premier and the first Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia - Sir Samuel Griffith. Griffith University’s primary objective is to indulge in providing premium quality education along with tremendous scholarship opportunities. Griffith University Campus
The campus of the university is categorized into six major divisions. Four of them are located in Brisbane while the largest campus, the Gold Coast campus, is located at Southport. The Logan campus is at Meadowbrook. The Nathan campus, The Mount Gravatt and South Bank campuses are located in the same area.

The university holds a reputed ranking amongst the majority of universities. It secures the 14th place out of 29 universities in Australia and ranks consistently amid the top 450 universities across the world.
