The University of Auckland is situated in the largest city in New Zealand, Auckland. It was established as a constituent of the University of New Zealand in 1883. It was John Beaglehole’s protest that initiated the growth of the college. Several institutions merged with the University of Auckland, making it the largest university in New Zealand. The University comprises eight faculties in its multiple campuses and two research institutes. The University of Auckland has six main campuses, from which five are in Auckland, and one is in Whangarei, which is in the Northland Region. The five campuses which are in Auckland is The City Campus, The Tāmaki Innovations Campus, The Grafton Campus, The Epsom Campus, Newmarket Campus. The Tai Tokerau Campus is in Whangarei. Apart from these campuses, there are other facilities and research centers which are situated all over New Zealand. Goldie Estate center on Waiheke island which offers Wine Science courses.
