Anglia Ruskin University is located in the East Anglia location of England and is one of the most prominent institutions in the United Kingdom. The University can be termed to be ancient, for that matter, since one can find its beginnings from the year 1858. In 1858, John Ruskin established this institution with the name Cambridge School of Art. Anglia Polytechnic was formed when the two well-renowned institutions, Cambridgeshire College of Arts and Technology and the Essex Institute of Higher Education, came together. This University by the name of Anglia Polytechnic University was established in 1992, while Anglia Ruskin University was established in 2005. Since then, a whopping investment of more than £115 million has been put into developing its campuses.

Anglia Ruskin University Campus

The University's flagship Cambridge campus is known for its simulated hospital sections and incredible, high-tech clinical skills labs. The Chelmsford campus was originally located in the city centre but had to be relocated to a new location in 1992. The Institution of Medicine was established in 2018 and is one of the most leading schools in Essex. It is also one of the key attractions of the riverfront campus. One can also spot Queen's building on the Chelmsford campus of the University. It is called so because the Queen herself inaugurated it. The Guild House Peterborough campus was recently founded in 2011, and it also specialises in themes revolving around social and healthcare courses. In the year 2015, yet another famous campus of the University, which is located in London, was found. A variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are provided at the University. The University frequently collaborates with University Centre West Anglia and Peterborough in the UK. It so far has established close ties with institutions in India, Malaysia, and Mauritius.
