Canadore College is a public college in Ontario, Canada. The college was initially created to be a part of Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1967. Five years later, in 1972, it became the separate entity that it is today. Canadore College has grown steadily over the years, and today it offers more than 500 programs in several disciplines. The college welcomes domestic and international students and ensures that all students grow holistically.

Canadore College has four main campuses in total. Three of the campuses, the Aviation Campus, Education Centre, and Commerce Court are located in North Bay, Ontario. The fourth campus is located in Parry Sound, Ontario. All the campuses of Canadore College are located in scenic locations that steal your breath away. The campuses are just a few hours away from Ontario. It is one of the few colleges which shares its campus with a university, the University being Nipissing University.

• Andrew Trigg Memorial Scholarship : This scholarship is awarded to two full-time students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program. Interested students are required to submit a 500-word essay highlighting the reasons for applying to the scholarship. 
• Francis Pegahmagabow Memorial Scholarship : This scholarship is awarded to one indigenous student $1,000 annually who is enrolled full-time in any program. The student must demonstrate his academic excellence. 
• Irene Anderson Memorial Scholarship : This scholarship is awarded to one student who is either a single parent who has full custody of their child. It can also be awarded to a student who has done community service.  
• Canadore College Board of Governors Scholarship : This is awarded to a female student enrolled in a technology course who has displayed academic excellence.

Applicants can apply any time, but it is a good idea to complete the application form in advance of the equal consideration dates, i.e., generally February 1 and October 1 to secure the spot.

Eligibility

Canadore College offers many certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and micro-credential short-term courses. Each course has different eligibility criteria. Before applying to a course, the student must validate that he is meeting the eligibility criteria of that particular course.

For Graduate Certificate programs

• The student must be 19 years or older or hold an OSSD/ GED or its equivalent.
• Some courses may require students to have taken certain subjects like English, Maths, Physics, etc, in Grade 12th. 
• Some courses may require students to have at least 65% aggregate marks in OSSD/ GED/ Grade 12th.
• International students must provide proof of English proficiency. (TOEFL/IELTS scores)
• Graduate certificate courses require some work experience. 

For College Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs

• Students must hold an OSSD/ GED or its equivalent, having taken certain subjects like English, Math, etc.
• A bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
