Masters at Carnegie Mellon University

The university offers more than 20 different master’s options for students who have completed (or will complete) a bachelor’s degree. Our most extensive program is the M.S. in Computer Science, which allows students with undergraduate degrees in computer science or another technical field to work with their academic advisor to create their course of study. The university also offers a fifth-year master’s program for current undergraduates and an MBA program with Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.

Bachelors in Carnegie Mellon University

The university offers more than 50 programs under bachelor's degrees. Some of the are in computational biology, Arts and Design, Interdisciplinary majors in computer science and the arts, and music and technology are also available. Admissions to all bachelor of programs are administered through the Carnegie Mellon Office of Undergraduate Administration. Students accepted into their interested programs as first-year students are undeclared until the middle of their second semester.

MBA at Carnegie Mellon University

Students can earn their bachelor’s degree and MBA in five years with the Tepper School of Business’s Accelerated MBA program. The Tepper School administers the program. The school also provides very less number of Diploma courses in MBA, but courses are available as well where diploma courses are under six months. There are online MBA Courses also available where online classes and study material provide students but no site visit sessions.

At Carnegie Mellon University, there are many social clubs as well where students can participate. If any student wants to have there owned club starting something new can get their permission from the student association and can start there own interesting activity club. Thus the experience is shared at outdoor as well as at the indoor level.

Carnegie Mellon offers housing options to its students . The campus has on and off-campus accommodations available. Shuttle cars are also available for students living on-campus.

First-year students are assigned to the dedicated first-year residence halls on campus including Morewood E-Tower, Residence on Fifth, Shirley Apartments, as well as Boss, Donner, Hamerschlag, McGill, Mudge, Scobell, and Stever houses. The Standard is a typical college dormitory setting, a long hallway with a series of double (two people to a room). Prime offers more privacy through suite-style rooms.
