About Concordia University
The Concordia University is a public nonpartisan university that traces its inception way back to 1974. It came to functional existence as a result of the merging of the Loyola College and Sir George Williams University. It is well known for its research, business and art programs. Moreover, there are just three universities in Quebec that use English as their official and primary language and Concordia University is one of them.
Concordia University Campus
The Concordia University is structurally pivoted by two campuses and these are the Sir George Williams campus that sits in downtown Montreal otherwise called Quartier Concordia and the Loyola campus. The later is in the residential district of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, suburban Quebec and it incorporates 6 campus buildings and the Sir George Williams campus houses 6 buildings too.

These are made up of 37,154 undergraduates students and 9,675 postgraduate students. This student population nests several local and international fraternities, the student media and the Concordia Student Union that was voted into existence 19 years ago.
Concordia University Faculties
Within the two Concordia University campuses that serve the university's structural functions are the four faculties that serve the academic needs of the institution. These faculties are the Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, the Faculty of Arts and Science, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Social Sciences and the John Molson School of business.
Concordia University Achievements & Rewards
In the area of achievements, some students of the Concordia University have won the Aboriginal Ambassadors in Natural Sciences and Engineering Award(AANSEA), as a result of their excellence in the field of natural science. Among the elites, Mohan Munasingbe; alumni of the university, was the Vice-Chairperson of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning intergovernmental panel on climate change.
