About University of Dalhousie
Founded in 1818, Dalhousie is one of Canada’s oldest universities, attracting more than 18,200+ students from around the world. Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is ranked as one of the friendliest cities in the world. Dalhousie University has three campuses, namely Studley Campus, Carleton Campus, Sexton Campus, and the Agricultural Campus. The first three campuses are located in within the Halifax Peninsula whereas the fourth; the Agricultural Campus is located in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia.

There are three beautiful campuses in the city of Halifax, graduate students at Dalhousie have access not only to world-class education and research opportunities but also to the vibrant cultural and social life that Halifax offers. Students can also choose to study at the Faculty of Agriculture attend school in picturesque Truro, NS where they have access to state-of-the-art facilities and are within an hour of many of the province’s main attractions, including vibrant Halifax.

The 2019 Academic Ranking of World Universities ranked Dalhousie University 201–300 in the world and 10–12 in Canada. The 2020 QS World University Rankings ranked the university 211th in the world, and eleventh in Canada. The 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings gave Dalhousie 251–300 rank in the world. The university got excellence grade in the academic field as well as in extracurricular activities. The university has also got many awards in Spelling Competitions held by the Literature Department.

The Faculty of Agriculture offers the only university-level programs in agriculture in Atlantic Canada.
