Masters in Duke University

For master programs, there are more than 20 courses in approximately every branch in Duke University. In 2009, the School of Medicine received 1,166 applications and accepted about 4% of them, while the average GPA and MCAT scores for accepted students from 2002 through 2009 were 3.74 and 34, respectively. The University has Online Master Diploma courses as well in which courses are generally held for six months to 1 year. They lack in field trips and activities, but the university provides all the study material needed. 

Bachelors in Duke University

Duke offers 46 arts and sciences majors, four engineering majors, 52 Minors (including two in engineering) and Program II, which allows students to design their interdisciplinary major in arts & sciences, and IDEAS, which will enable students to design their own engineering major. Twenty-four certificate programs also are available. Students can also opt for combinations of 3 subjects as well. Diploma courses are also available in the field of Bachelors with courses up to 1 year.

MBA at Duke University

There is a total of 7 MBA Courses available in the university in completion of all the branches. Among them, some of the courses which are very famous in the university are Global Executive MBA, MBA in Business Analytics, MBA in Health Analytics, Daytime MBA. The MBA courses majorly are for two years some are for three years as well. Online MBA courses are also available but in very less number of subjects and is decidedly not preferred by students in the last four years.

Duke represents a community of 50 countries as it believes in giving quality education to its international students. It also provides financial aid facilities to them to make their dream come true. In the first year, it makes an atmosphere of learning, studying, and exploration, especially for people from abroad. It is also serving in China, Singapore, and D.C. It has one on one global advisors present to solve the problems of the students.

Accommodations at Duke University

Duke requires its students to live on campus for the first three years of undergraduate life, except for a small percentage of second-semester juniors who are exempted by a lottery system. The administration justifies this requirement as an effort to help students connect more closely with one another and sustain a sense of belonging within the Duke community. Thus, 85% of undergraduates live on campus. All freshmen are housed in one of 14 residences on East Campus.
