Admission Procedure

How to Apply at the Kaplan Business School?

Kaplan University had an open admissions policy. Applicants were eligible for both pell grants and federal loans. The university offered members of the military discounted tuition rates as well as college credit for some of the military education they may have received while in the service.

  • Complete the application form online by visiting kbs.edu.au/apply. Enrolment terms and conditions apply.
  • Provide certified* copies of your:
  • Passport
  • High school certificates
  • English proficiency documents.
  • Degree completion certificate.
  • Work experience details (if applicable)

We will notify you after receiving your application whether you have been accepted or not. If approved, you will receive an Offer of Admission to study.

To proceed with your enrolment, you will need to sign and return the Acceptance of Offer form and pay the fees as specified in the Offer of Admission.

Once you receive your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) from us you can proceed to apply for the Offer of Admission.

Once you receive your automated Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) from us you can continue to apply for an Australian student visa.

Masters in Kaplan Business School

Intake dates for Master Programs are in March, July, and November. Students with relevant undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to fast track their qualification. Average fees structure for master courses can be up to $41,600.Some of the Postgraduate courses which are offered are Masters in Administration, Accounting, Professional Accounting Etc. There are Diploma courses also available in Business Administration which is a one year course.

Bachelors in Kaplan Business School

Intake dates for Bachelor Programs are in March, July, and November. Study intensity can be modified to suit an individual's requirements. Visa restrictions may apply to international students. Average fees structure for bachelor courses can be up to $49,200.The school provides Diploma programs also which are mainly of the 1-year course. Diploma certificate is available only in 1 course that is in Business Administration. Other than that, undergraduate courses are in Accounting, Hospitality and tourism management, marketing, etc.

MBA at Kaplan Business School

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is highly regarded as a preferred course for students who want to pursue a career in strategic management. Life at Kaplan Business School

As a new student at Kaplan Business School, they ensure you have the best possible start to your educational adventure and feel warmly welcomed into the KBS family. Orientation is held the week prior to the first trimester commencing and provides you with further information on your studies, facilities, and support services available on campus. But most importantly, this is an excellent opportunity to meet your peers. Each trimester they hold several internal and external events designed to be interactive and inspiring for all of their students. Which include guest speakers, expert panels, multicultural days, quizzes, and much more. Other than that there are facilities like:

  • Student lounges are available.
  • Library facility is opened from 9 a.m. till 7 in the evening.
  • Wifi-facility available
  • Individual hostels for Girls and Boys are available
  • Student support service is also available for the students where they can clear there queries online or face to face regarding any activity or subject.

Accommodation at Kaplan Business School

Kaplan Business School focuses on a safe and supportive accommodation function. There are several options for students to choose from that include homestay, finding a room/housemates, or private student accommodations.

Kaplan Business School On-Campus Accommodation

Total 20 hostels are available inside the campus. During the admission procedure, students need to apply for the hostel facilities as well. The choice of a roommate is also available.

The Career Preparation Pathway is available once you get to your final year of study and is specifically designed to develop your employability skills to ensure a seamless transition into the workforce. The University hires trainers who teach to present and facilitate activities on communication, self-management, technology, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. There are facilities available such as Career counseling, Workshops, Campus selection programs, Summer internships, etc.

Jobs After Studying at Kaplan Business School

More than 25 companies do come for campus recruitment process inside the campus once a year after when the students are in there last semesters. Each company has there own eligibility criteria. If the student is eligible enough, he/she is only allowed to sit for the campus selection process. More than 15 multinational companies do come for campus placements. The university also provides internship programs where students are allowed for summer internships as well as part-time internships as well.
