About Manchester Metropolitan University

Manchester Metropolitan University, founded in 1824, is a top-ranked public higher education and research institution in England. The Manchester Mechanics Institute was its original name. Before achieving university status in 1992 under its current name, the school underwent various structural and name modifications throughout the years. The University Alliance has granted the university accreditation. The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and the North West Universities Association all have links with it (NWUA).

Manchester Metropolitan Campus

Manchester Metropolitan University has two campuses: All Saints, which is in the city center, and Birley, which is on the outskirts of the city.
