Montana State University is a public research university located in Bozeman, Montana. The university offers baccalaureate degrees in 60 streams, masters degrees in 68 different fields and doctoral degrees in 36 streams through the nine colleges. MSU was founded in 1893. The university is one of the largest research universities in Montana and also the biggest research entity in any state.

Montana State University Campus 

The University's main campus is located on the south side of Bozeman. It is the largest in the state with an area of 1170 acres. It is home to KUSM television, the Museum of the Rockies and the KGLT radio. MSU houses around 4200 students in its residential halls. The campus is equipped with a lot of student-friendly amenities. Montana South University Scholarships 

Montana State University offers millions of dollars in scholarships and waivers  to students with excellent academic records. The MSU Office of International programs is proud to offer merit-based scholarships to qualified international undergraduate students  who are offered full admission to MSU. These awards are only based on GPA and can be applied towards MSU tuition fees and not other expenses. How to Apply to Montana State University 

• To apply to Montana state university, international students need to visit the online application site of the university.
• Students need to sign up with the university and fill in the application form. 
• Submit all the required documents as mentioned by the university.
• Students are required to pay an application fee of $30.
• Once the form is duly filled and all the documents submitted, students can click on submit and wait for a reply from the university. 

Eligibility 

There are a few eligibility criteria that international students need to fulfill in order to be considered for admission. The requirements vary as per the course but here are a few common ones:

Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses

• Students need a minimum GPA of 2.5 i.e. 78% - 79%. 
• A minimum score requirement of 63 is required in TOEFL iBT or a minimum score requirement of 475 in TOEFL PBT.

Eligibility for Post-graduate Courses

• A minimum score requirement of 66 is required for international students in TOEFL iBT and a minimum score requirement of 500 is required in TOEFL PBT.
• GMAT and GRE scores are optional but add weightage to the application.
