- Campus
The main campus is in the city of Syracuse, New York, is where most of the academic and student activity takes place. The campus is made of ten main buildings:
The Baker Laboratory: which was named after Hugh Baker, Dean of the College from 1913–1920 and again from 1930-33. The building is of location. It is home to the Department of Environmental Resources of Engineering and Division of Environmental studies.
- Courses
The ESF has a mission statement is "of advanced knowledge and skills which promote the leadership which is necessary for the stewardship of the natural and designed environments.ESF is a perfectly specialized institution of State University New York, which means that the curriculum focuses on primarily on the field, the College being environmental management, and stewardship. Students may get to supplement their education with courses taken with Syracuse University.
- Degrees
The University provides all kinds of degrees including Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Communication, MBA, etc
- Governance
In line with the old bicameral system at many universities, the governance structure hereof is composed of the Academic Council and also a Board of Governance. The Board of Governance is the one who oversees the strategic direction of this University, including the fiduciary, legal, and judicial responsibilities.
- Organization
The institute has launched various programs, both within the campus and other of its locations to reduce the carbon emissions. The Gateway Center also utilizes some sustainable energy resources to generate power which is utilized across the campus. The building includes combined heat- power system, producing about 75% of campus heating needs
- Student life
Within a dynamic environment, students here are given a chance to learn at competitive tuition fees.
