About Texas A & M University
Texas A&M is the state's first public institution of higher education. With a student body of more than 59,000 and more than 5,200 acres on the College Station campus, Texas A&M is also among the nation's largest universities. Origin is dated back to Morrill Act approved by United States Congress on July 2, 1862. Texas A&M underwent many changes in the 1960s.
Texas A & M University Campus
The campus is of 5200 acres with 350 acres of the research park, which is with the main campus. The main campus is basically of two phases or sides, which are the East and the West sides. On the Eastside, there are Engineering, Liberal Arts, Gio-Science, BioMedical Buildings, and other departments as well, whereas, on the West Sides, there is a Library, residence halls, Administration departments, Student association, Museums, etc.

There is a total of 69,367 students, among which about 54,369 students are undergraduate students, and about 14,998 students are of postgraduate courses. Five thousand seventy students are from the Medical field. More than 660 students are international students from all over the globe. Texas A & M University Faculty
There are a total of 4,900 staff present on campus, among which 4,230 are all-time faculty, whereas the remaining are Part-time faculty present on campus. Many of the faculties are Noble Prize Winners, and approximately all of them have qualified doctoral degree certificates of there representing streams. Many teachers have got gold medals in Science and Mathematics and have passed with distinction in many subjects.
Texas A & M University Achievements and Rewards
The University has got many awards in the past years, among which more than 24 awards were won from the faculty of the University for best performance at the District level in the field of Liberal Arts and Agriculture between 2007-2014. In the year 2018, the University also got the University Distinguished level Award for the best teaching environment. Some of the winners were Norma Arizpe, Don.
