Troy University is a public university located in Troy, Alabama. It began as Troy State Normal School inside the Alabama State University System in 1887 and is currently the Troy University System's flagship university. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) has regionally recognized Troy University to offer associate, bachelor, master's, education specialist, and doctorate degrees.

  • International Honors Scholarship: Undergraduate students who have maintained at least a 3.0 Cumulative Institutional GPA in their first two semesters at Troy University are considered for the scholarship. If a cumulative institutional GPA of at least 3.0 is maintained continuously until graduation, the scholarship will cover out-of-state tuition. The student will receive between $7,500 and $10,000 every year from this award (two semesters).
  • International Trojan Opportunity: Students who pursue their undergraduate academic work with Troy University at a TROY location outside of the United States are eligible for the International Trojan Opportunity scholarship if they transfer to an Alabama campus as unconditionally admitted students. The student will receive between $7,500 and $10,000 every year from this award (two semesters). Out-of-state tuition requirements will be waived with this grant.
