It is a US government-funded university and is the flagship campus of the MIT. It is ranked 26th in the world in the list of top public universities. They offer undergraduate degrees in more than 100 programs and more than 50 degrees in master’s courses. It was initially founded as an agricultural college.

Students must have completed 12th or International equivalent as well as possess the expected skills and aptitude. Students need to give the IELTS, PTE and TOEFL for English language requirements. The University is home to over 23,000 undergraduate students from around the U.S. and more than 70 countries. There are various streams of programs which allow international students in the campus to learn different  things apart from the course like sports, cultural events etc. The campus is the flagship of MIT has many things where individuals can enjoy the native things like food and other things. International students arrange group activities with country native, for example sports events where one enjoys. Students here have freedom like other universities and are provided facilities to work inside the university departments in case they have heavy education loans. The part time job is of many types like waiter and lab assistants.
