How to apply in University of Stirling

Applying to the University of Stirling is way too easier now with its online application portal. Moreover, the website presents a short video to clear out the application doubts for the students.   • Then fill in all the necessary details like age, country, educational qualifications and provide all the asked documents & certificates.
  • After filling the form, the submission will be the next step by paying a non-refundable fee to the website online. Moreover, the fee can differ for various courses. 
  • After submission, the applicant has to wait for 21 days to get a reply from the University. The applicant can check the status of the form by logging on to the portal.

Eligibility

The University of Stirling has its requirements and eligibility criteria for international students applying to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Moreover, the criteria can differ for some programs. In addition, the University asks for English language proficiency and has set minimum required score on English tests (IELTS).

Eligibility for UG

  • The University of Stirling asks for senior secondary school marks (Grade XII) with a minimum score of 65%-70% overall. 
  • In addition, the percentages accepted by the University in Grade XII also differ for international students based on the country and state board. 
  • Apart from Grade XII, the University also asks for English language proficiency with an 80% above in English in XII. 
  • If English is not the first language of the applicant, then they have to demonstrate English proficiency through tests like IELTS (a minimum score of 6.0 - 6.5 is accepted).
  • Students who take advance entry to 2nd year in undergraduate courses must have a 75%-80% of marks in Grade XII. 

Eligibility for PG

  • The University of Stirling requires 50% of marks in bachelor degree in the same field chosen for the postgraduate degree. 
  • Moreover, the institution has listed some colleges in tier 2. Thus, it asks the applicants from tier 2 colleges a minimum of 55% of marks to take admission to the University. 
  • Besides, the University of Stirling also asks for English language proficiency through English tests with a score of 6.5 - 7.0 in reading, writing, speaking and listening,
