The University of Wisconsin- Madison was established in 1848. It is the oldest and largest University in Wisconsin. The first class in the University was started on 1849 Feb, 5th Moreover, the University of Wisconsin-Madison has academic affiliations with AAU, ORAU, URA, etc. The University of Wisconsin- Madison is located at the southern shore of Lake Mendota. The applications for admissions at the University of Wisconsin Madison are taken in two-term periods namely fall intake & spring intake.
