TRF stands for Test Report Form and is a copy of your IELTS score. Each candidate receives just one IELTS TRF, which is valid for two years. You will only get one copy of your TRF until you apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) or the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA). To receive these two copies, you must provide evidence of application to CIC and UKBA.

IELTS test report form verification

Many organizations accept IELTS as proof of English proficiency. A TRF is supplied to an IELTS candidate that details the candidate’s test scores. We built an online verification service to ensure that the candidate is presenting a legitimate TRF and that the candidate and the TRF match. The service is free to use, and it will assist you in ensuring that anyone providing you with a TRF has the authority to claim the level of competence specified on the TRF. To secure the information we have about candidates, access to the site is restricted. You will not be able to do broad searches of our data; you will only be able to conduct specific searches.

To make verification more convenient where an organization needs to verify a large number of TRFs, results for several candidates can be downloaded in a single file.
