Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University is an institution looking forward to the growth of the nation by

providing the less fortunate with education and knowledge.

The prestigious institution was formed in 1991. Bhoj University is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. For the past 29 years Bhoj University has promoted higher education and has provided the underprivileged with many study centres in rural areas. Bhoj university is working towards building a country with everyone getting a chance to learn and not be looked down upon on the basis of being poor or from a backward class.

MPBOU is a very well-known distance learning educational institution. The university has centers in regions like Bhopal, Jabalpur, Sagar, Rewa, Indore, Gwalior, Satna, Ujjain, Chhindwara, Barwani and Hoshangabad. The admission criteria is purely merit based.

The vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University is DR. Jatyant Sonwalkar. The University has held hands with Institutions like the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management , Rehabilitation Council of India and Indian Institute of Material Management, etc

Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) Universit was established under an Act of State Assembly in 1991 with the following aims:

1)To Extend and Expand Higher Education by expanding their horizon to the unreached by several means that suit distance education

2)To promote Distance Education and determine the status
