MDSU or Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University is a university in Rajasthan, India. It was opened in 1987 has been known after the philosopher Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati. The founding father of the University was Professor Rambali Upadhyaya, a renowned Management teacher who was previously teaching management students at the University of Rajasthan.

Since its inception, the university has conducted the examination of nearly 1,600,000 students in colleges throughout the state. There are 24 teaching departments: commerce and management studies, economics, botany, zoology, history, political sciences and public administration, environmental studies, pure and applied chemistry, remote sensing and GIS, microbiology, computer applications, foods and nutrition, population studies, law, education, physical education, yoga and human consciousness, entrepreneurship & small business management, strategic studies, and information sciences.

The campus of the university is near the village of Ghooghra, 7 KM’s from the town of Ajmer, Rajasthan. There are 89 government-run and private or PPP colleges affiliated with the university. These colleges are spread throughout Rajasthan. The university conducted examinations of 155,000 students for courses during the 2007-08 session. The university has been accredited B++ rating by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council(NAAC).

MDSU-AJMER

It is the foremost important affiliating university within the state, and it provides academic leadership to 281+ colleges of the region covering 4 Districts. On the campus, there are 20 teaching departments with six centers. The University examined 3, 05,600 students for various courses during the session 2016-17. It’s committed to providing quality education across dimensions of Higher-Education to all or any sections of the society through teaching, learning, research, and extension as per the necessity at the regional and global levels. For an urge to boost quality in education, the University was accredited by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council(NAAC) within the year 2017 with B++ grade.

MDSU Exam

MDSU Ajmer follows the Annual and Semester Examination Procedure. The Exams for Annual Courses are held within June per annum, whereas the exams for the courses that are divided into semesters are held twice a year. End-semester examinations are conducted within June and December for even and odd semesters, respectively.

  • Admission to the UG and PG courses are done, supported the merit of marks obtained in their previous qualifying examination and ranks obtained in them.
  • CMAT scores are used for MBA admissions.
  • Selection to M.Phil is completed based on the Admission Eligibility Test (AET), and Research Entrance Test (RET) is taken into consideration for Ph.D. 
  • The application mode made available by the university is offline, as also as online.

The way to check the result:-

  1. Go online to the official website of MDSU
  2. On the home page, click on the ‘Student Panel.’
  3. Click on the ‘Reveal Result’ Tab.
  4. Select Course and Group from the drop-down menu.
  5. To view the result, click on ‘Proceed for Result.’

Rajasthan PTET 

Using this Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET), admissions in B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed. 4 Year Integrated Course and two years B.Ed. Courses are going to be given. Rajasthan PTET B.Ed Admissions 2020’s Form has been extended upto 15 April 2020. Rajasthan PSTET full form is Rajasthan Pre Teacher Entrance Test. 

The exam will be conducted by the Government of Dungar College, Rajasthan. It is the state level examination conducted once during a year. The shortlisted candidates will get admission into two years of B.Ed. Along with four years of Integrated B.A B.Ed./B.SC B.Ed courses. The exam is going to be conducted on 10 May 2020(tentative).

MDSU stands for “Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University.”

Since its inception, the university has conducted an examination of nearly 1,600,000 students in colleges throughout the state. In 1990, the courses of mathematics, history, political science, zoology, and botany departments were inaugurated; in 1991, courses in environmental technology, microbiology, and laboratory technology and instrumentation were started. In 1993, after transferring to a new campus, the courses of applied chemistry, management studies, food and nutrition, and computer applications were created, offering MSc., MBA, postgraduate (PG) diploma, and Ph.D. programs.
