With over 150 years of history in education, Oxford Brookes University is a publicly funded university located in Oxford, England. Started as Oxford School of Art in 1865, It got the title of the university in 1992 with the legalization of the Further and Higher Education Act. It is named after John Henry Brookes who was appointed as the principal of the School of Art when it was merged with the Oxford City Technical School in 1934. In 1970, it was renamed as Oxford Polytechnic until it received the title of the university in 1992.

Since its inception and receiving the title of university, Oxford Brookes University has added many courses in its curriculum. It offers more than a hundred courses included in programs like foundation courses, undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, professional courses, and short-term courses. Besides these, it also offers courses in partnership with other institutes so that students can continue to study in the comfort of their home town. The Global MBA program of Oxford Brookes University is a 30-months long part-time course delivered through Oxford Brookes Business School. Oxford Brookes University Bachelor of Science in Applied Science

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University is a global program that one can take from any corner of the world. This program is delivered in partnership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Oxford Brookes University Entry Requirements

Oxford Brookes University receives thousands of applications every year and only a handful of applicants get admission into the university. However, a candidate needs to fulfill the minimum entry requirement to apply for the course of preference.

Entry requirement varies from one course to another. For undergraduate courses, a minimum of 65% of marks are mandatory in 12th grade from a recognized board. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirement can apply for the foundation course. A brief requirement for entry is mentioned below.

  1. 12th-grade examination certificate with at least 50% or more depending upon the course for undergraduate programs.
  2. 55%, 60%, or 65% marks in graduation from high-level institutions, medium level institutions, and low-level institutions respectively for postgraduate programs.
  3. A minimum of 40% marks in an undergraduate program for a pre-masters course.
  4. For candidates with English as their second language needs to submit their IELTS score which should be 6.0-7.0 depending upon the course.
