Paderborn University History

Paderborn University was found in 1972 as a not-for-profit public university in the city of Paderborn, in the Northern-Rhine Westphalia region, Germany. The university has over 20,300 students, which includes both national and international students. Paderborn University is a well-recognized university for streams like Information Society.

  1. Student accommodations: Paderborn University has two main campus dormitories. The first is in Peter-Hille-Weg, and the second is Vogeliusweg. The hostel room is well equipped with a desk, bed, chair, broadband facilities, and a clothing wardrobe.
  2. Vogeliusweg– Students are facilitated with shared apartments, where the students need to share a bathroom and the kitchen.
  3. Peter-Hille-Weg– Students are facilitated with a small but single apartment having separate kitchen and bathroom.
  4. Wohngemeinschaft: Students get a well-furnished apartment with a shared bathroom and kitchen.

Along with the above facilities, students can also find a private residence or can live with a fellow German.
