University Of Lodz Tuition Fees

The yearly tuition fees for the University varies from € 2000-3000 EURO+100 EURO in the first year. There is a separate admission fee/ administrative fee, i.e., € 20 EURO for one study program.

Students can apply for the scholarship in order to cover their educational expenses at the university. The university has its own application as SmartUni app – www.smart.uni.lodz.pl, where you can get loads of information about the university, the city, and Poland.

If you are interested in enrolment at the University of Lodz for higher studies, before you apply please check the availability of the Polish Embassy for visa processing. The academic year starts at the very beginning of October.

University Of Lodz Admission Requirements

For candidates from outside the EU / EFTA countries or who are not of Polish origin, it is mandatory for the students to show holders of a temporary residence permit. The applicant is needed to register at the online enrolment platform and upload the required documents:

  • An application form (personal details form), printed out from the ADMISSION IRK online enrolment platform and signed,
  • Copies of secondary education certificate for BA studies and diploma for MA studies,
  • A copy of the transcript of records,
  • An English language certificate. A candidate whose documents confirm schooling in English, may not be required to present any additional language certificate,
  • A cover letter,
  • Accommodation request (if the candidate decides to stay in the dormitory),
  • Application fee of 20 Euro for each study programme.

University Of Lodz Scholarship

Candidates outside Poland who wish to study at the university and want to be exempted from the educational fees can apply for various scholarship programs offered by the university which either exempt them from paying a tuition fee or serve as financial support in covering their living expenses in Lodz

Candidates of Polish origin wanting to apply for the scholarship has to contact the Polish Embassy or the Polish Consulate at their permanent place of residence to receive guidance concerning the scholarship. Students already holding Polish Government Scholarship, may receive the following benefits in the course of their education in the Republic of Poland on a one-time basis:

  1. relocation allowance during the first year of studies,
  2.  hardship allowance,
  3.  allowance for diploma thesis preparation.
