IES exam is conducted to recruit officers for the services that carter to the technical and managerial functions of the government of India in the field of engineering. Indian Engineering Services (IES) comprise of engineers who work under the government of India and designated as Class – 1 officer. IES Exam 2020

The UPSC had released the notification about the Engineering Service Examination 2020 for over 580 vacancies. Interested candidates had checked all the details on the official website and filled the registration form. The Union Public Service Commission is responsible for conducting the Engineering Services Examination, also known as Indian Engineering Services Exam 2020.

The commission will shortlist the candidates for the posts through preliminary and main Examination. The Online Applications was filled from September 25, 2019, to October 15, 2019, till 6 PM, after which the link was disabled. IES Exam Age Limit

CSE candidates are eligible or the IES exam. IES exam is paper-pen based exam, and the UPSC directs this exam. IES exam includes only four branches for the recruitment of the engineers. There is no field where computer engineers are not required.
