France is a country located in Europe. The European Continent is located in Northern Hemisphere and has 51 countries with a population of 742 million people. Europe is home to many old universities that provide quality education, along with the top universities in the world. France has a distinct lifestyle in all its cities. France is a mix of history combined with modern-day metropolitan life. Also, France is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations in the world. France has an enriching culture and is famous for its artwork and food in the world.

There are more than 70 universities in France. The universities in France comprises of public and catholic universities along with business schools. France is famous for its quality of education and is the hub of some of the best business schools in the world. France is among the world leaders in business and finance. Paris is the capital of France and the international business market. Located in the heart of western Europe, France has thriving graduate job prospects.

French Education system comprises of three bodies of institutions for higher education. These are lycées, universities, and “grandes écoles.”

Lycées are the higher education institutes invented by Napoleon, based on traditional French education system.
France has public and Catholic universities, and no private educational institute can call itself a university according to an old French law. So private institutes are called schools. France has some great business schools, along with universities as well.
Grandes écoles are the pioneer of French education and are very small in numbers and admit only a few students belonging to the nation’s future elites i.e., senior civil servants), leaders of the industry, top military brass, top politicians, physicists, and other influential people.
