The College of Burdwan, otherwise called Burdwan University or B. U. is a chief Four Star state-funded college in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. It was built up by the West Bengal Government as an educating and affiliating college on 15 June 1960 with six alumni offices and 30 undergrad schools spread more than three locales that go under the purview of the college.

The ward covers the Birbhum area, Purba Bardhaman locale, and Hooghly region except for Srirampore development. It offers over 30 undergrad and 66 postgraduate courses. There are 227 Regarded Resources and 189 subsidiary schools.

The University of Burdwan is situated in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. It was established by the Government of West Bengal on June 15, 1960. The main campus is about 398 acres (approximately). 

The University has four academic campuses —

• Golabag Campus 
• UIT campus for Engineering
• Rajbari Campus
• Tara bag Campus for Medical Education.

 It has received a Four-Star status by NAAC under UGC, Govt. of India. The University is known for its Law, Management, Engineering & Medical Courses.

Burdwan University- DDE

Burdwan University, Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) provides facilities of distance learning courses under MBA, B.Ed., M.Sc., M.A., and M.Com. programs. 

PG curriculum consists of 9 subject specializations. All degree courses are offered under the distance learning curriculum of the university. The Admission process for all programs are as follow:
