Major Objectives of CBSE

CBSE Grading System

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has presented evaluating for Class X from 2010. Board assessments will, at last, come without the pass or bomb tag for understudies.

CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Grading Systems

  • There will be one term-end exam for each term.
  • The first term-end exam will carry 20 marks.
  • The second term-end exam will carry 40 marks.

CBSE Class 10 & Class 12 Evaluation

Students of class IX and X will be evaluated on a 9-point grading system. Each grade, given based on both formative and summative assessments, will correspond to a range of marks.

CBSE Grading System: Points to Remember

  • Evaluation of hypothesis/reasonable papers in outer subjects will be in numerical scores. Notwithstanding numerical scores, the Board will demonstrate grades in the imprints sheets given to the applicants if there should arise an occurrence of subjects of outer assessments. On account of inner appraisal subjects, just grades will appear.
  • Subjects of internal examination in Class X, the assessment shall be made on a five-point scale, I.e., A, B, C, D & E.
  • The evaluations will be gotten from scores if there should be an occurrence of subjects of outer assessment. On account of subjects of inside evaluation, they will be granted by the schools.
  • The passing imprints in each subject of outside assessment will be 33%.     • B2: Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
    • C1: Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
    • C2: Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
    • D1: Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
    • D2: Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
    • E: Failed candidates

CBSE Grading System: Important Points to Remember

✅ What Is D1 grade in CBSE?
