University of Toronto

Founded in 1827, the University of Toronto is one of the largest universities in Toronto and is among the world’s most prestigious. It was ranked #29 on QS World University Ranking and #18 on the World University Rankings 2020 by Times Higher Education. Reputed for harbouring innovation and research, the University of Toronto has been the centre of numerous ground-breaking scientific moments such as the discovery of insulin and stem cell research, and the invention of the electron microscope.
