Australia, The Edith Cowan University (ECU) is situated in Perth, Western Australia. It is a public university, and it was named after Edith Cowan,  the first woman to be elected to an Australian Parliament. It is the only university in Australia to be named after a woman. The Edith Cowan University offers innovative and practical courses across a variety of disciplines, and it has a vibrant research culture. Situated in Western Australia. Established in 1991, ECU has grown rapidly into a quality university with excellent student satisfaction and internationally recognized research.

Edith Cowan University Campus

ECU has three campuses, consisting one at Joondalup and Mount Lawley, and one at Bunbury, in the Western region of Australia. Programs are also offered throughout Western Australia. The university earlier had two campuses which were in Churchlands and Claremount. These campuses were closed down in the mid-2000s. Later one campus became a residential area, and the other one was acquired by the Western University of Australia.

The 2016 ERA  ranked ECU at 36th position of Australian universities. The 2016 Good Universities Guide gave the university a five-star rating making the highest star rating in the fields of teaching quality and graduate starting salary. The 2020 QS World University Ranking listed ECU in the 651-700 band. The 2020 Times Higher Education (THE) ranked the university at 401st position out of 500. The university was also named in The Times Higher Education 150 Under 50 and was named as one of the best universities of Australia.
