About Brock University

Brock University founded in 1964 is a prestigious post-secondary university in Canada. Brock University, located in the historic Niagara area, provides all of the advantages of a fresh and modern university in a secure, community-minded city with stunning natural surroundings. It is the only institution in Canada situated within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on the Niagara Escarpment, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula. Maj.-General Sir Isaac Brock commanded the defence of Upper Canada against the United States during the War of 1812, and the institution was named for him.

Brock University Campus

Brock University has two campuses. Around 2,500 Brock University students live in eight residential complexes on the St. Catharines campus. In addition, the University has a campus in the city of Hamilton, Ontario.   • Brock Leaders Citizenship Society Awards: The Brock Leaders Citizenship Society Award is granted to entering secondary school students from all faculties who have excelled academically, demonstrated excellent leadership, and participated in the community work. The amount is for a total of $8,000 ($2,000 per year) and is renewable for as long as the student stays a member of the Brock Leaders Citizenship Society.
  • Niagara Principal Scholarship: The Niagara Principal's Scholarship honours two students from each of Niagara's secondary schools who have excelled academically and demonstrated a solid dedication to their school and community. Each award has a monetary value of $2,500.
  • Goodman Scholarship: Goodman scholarships are given to students entering the Goodman School of Business who have shown leadership in school and the community and have demonstrated entrepreneurial ability and academic excellence. These awards are worth up to $8,000 and can be renewed if you maintain a minimum 75 percent average at Brock.
  • Chancellor's First Nations Award: Each year, this award is given to a First Nations student who has excelled academically and is fresh out of high school. Recipients must be First Nations and have a final high school academic grade of 80%.

How to Apply to the Brock University?

International students can apply online through Brock University's application website. New users must first register with personal information before using a foreign application. Applicants will be able to check and track all of their applications online at any time.

Eligibility for UG

  • To apply to an undergraduate program, a student must be 18 years old or older.
  • Grade 12 is required for entry to undergraduate programs.
  • Applicants from countries where English is not the native language must submit one of the following exam scores: IELTS- 5.0 - 6.0 or more, TOEFL - 72 or more.
  • Indian students must have finished the CBSE board exams with a 60% or higher score to get admitted to Brock University.

Eligibility for PG

Masters in Brock University
