Colorado State University was established in 1870. The university was first named Colorado Agricultural College. The first building of the university was constructed in 1878 and the university start accepting students in 1879 with only two faculty members and a university president. The university has grown and developed much now snd has 8 attached colleges now. There are. Higher Learning Commission and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) are attached with the university now. Colorado State University’s main campus is spread across 586 acres and has a 101-acre veterinary teaching hospital and is situated in the center of Fort Collins. Fort Collins is situated near the Rocky Mountains with 14,000-foot high peaks.
