About Georgian College

Established in 1967, Georgian College is a college in Ontario, Canada. This College of Applied Arts and Technology was set up when Ontario's College system was created. Georgian College has seven spacious and well-equipped campuses spread across Ontario. The Barrie Campus is the biggest of Georgian College's seven campuses. It is home to the Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre, and the Muskoka campus (Bracebridge campus) is home to a state-of-the-art simulation lab. Moreover, the Midland campus houses the Indigenous Resource Centre. Additionally, the Orangeville campus offers programs in health, wellness, and sciences and human services, business, and management. Other campuses of the College include the Orillia campus, Owen Sound Campus, and the South Georgian Bay (Collingwood) campus.

Georgian College Scholarships

Every year, Georgian College gives away more than $3 million in scholarships, awards, and bursaries. These scholarships and awards help students who are in financial need.

• Georgian Bursary: The Georgian Bursary awards students a minimum of $500 annually. It is given to students enrolled in full-time courses in financial need.
• Georgian Technology Bursary: It provides financial aid to students of the College who need new technology during their education. It is given to students once per year.
• 44 North Award of Excellence: This prize is given to a female student enrolled in Georgian College's Interactive Media Design – Web course each year. The chosen student receives $1,000.
• Alectra Co-op Award: This $1,000 award is given to a student enrolled in the Electrical Engineering Technology Program. The student must have displayed academic excellence or community involvement.
