The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level education board of India managed by the Union Government of India, and class 10 is considered as the first level crucial stage for the students in their academic life. The board has been part of the development since 1952 for the development of better school level education in India. It conducts the class 10th board examination for the regular students in the month of February-March every year. The application process is held through the schools for all the regular students and online for private based students. Based on the result of CBSE class 10, students can choose the academic stream from class 11 and 12. Students have to obtain a minimum of 33% marks to qualify a paper.

CBSE Class 10 results 2017

The CBSE has commenced their standard examination from the 9th of March to the 10th of April 2017 across India. The result was declared on the 3rd of June 2017. A total of 16,68,567 candidates appeared for the exam in 2017. As per CBSE official, several boys score farewell better than the girls with perfect 10 CGPA. Around 23232 international students appeared for the exam, which saw a 99.13% passing rate. As per the Institution wise, JNV saw 99.78% followed by KVS 99.69% and then Independent schools with a 98.06% passing rate.

The top ten regions were Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, Ajmer, Panchkula, Allahabad, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram

& Dehradun. The Trivandrum region has set 99.85%, which is the highest percentage further followed by Chennai at 99.62%. And then, Patna.

Average Result

About 15,09383 students passed the examination with 93.12%. Around 105188 male candidates secured 10CGPA, and 100950 female candidates secured 10 CGPA. The boys had done better than the girls by 0.9%. The overall pass percentage was dipped by 5.26%. About 2,80358 boys secured 9.0-10 CGPA, and about 237511 girl students secured 9.0-10 CGPA in 2017.

CBSE Class 10 results 2017 date

The CBSE 2017 result was declared on the official website of CBSE on the 03rd of June 2017 for all the regions by 2 pm and the result was announced in the form of CGPA excluding the sixth additional subject as per the scheme of the exam and the results were sent to the school on their respective email addresses and public was not advised to visit the board for the collection of results.

CBSE Class 10 results 2018

The CBSE has commenced the examination from the 15th of February 2019 to the 04th of April 2019, and the result was declared on the 06th of May 2019. A total number of 162,4682 candidates appeared for the exam in 2018, with the passing rate of 86.70%. Around 23787 international students appeared for the exam, which saw a 98.32% passing rate. As per the Institution wise, VK saw 96% followed by the JNV, which saw 97%, Independent schools 87%, CTSA 86%, Govt.aided 85%, Govt. 75% passing rate.

However, Thiruvananthapuram saw 99.60% followed by Chennai- 97.37%, followed by Ajmer- 91.86%, followed by Delhi- 78.62% passing rate.

Average result

About 1408594 students passed the examination with 86.70% passing rate. Around 225143 candidates secured >90% and above, while 57256 students secured >95% and above. The girls have done better than the boys by 2.31%.About 275 CSWN students secured >90%+ and 48 CSWN students secured >95%+ About 95.99% of CSWN students were passed in 2018 examination. Around 186067 i.e.11.45%. A number of candidates were placed for the Compartmental exam.

CBSE Class 10 results 2019

The CBSE has commenced the examination from 15th February 2019 to 04th April 2019, and the result was declared on 6th May 2019. A total number of 17,61,078 candidates appeared for the exam in 2019, with the passing rate of 91.10%. Around 23494 foreign students appeared for the exam, which saw a 98.75% passing rate. As per the Institution wise, VK saw 99.47%, followed by the JNV, which saw 98.57%, Independent schools 94.15%, CTSA 91.82%, Govt.aided 76.95%, Govt. 71.91% passing rate.

Average Result

About 16,04428 students passed the examination with a 91.10% passing rate. Around 225143 candidates secured >90% and above, while 57256 students secured >95% and above. The girls have done better than the boys by 2.31%.About 275 CSWN students secured >90%+ and 48 CSWN students secured >95%+ About 95.99% of CSWN students were passed in 2019 examination. Around 138705 i.e.7.88%. number of candidates were placed in Compartmental exam

CBSE Class 10 results 2019 date

The CBSE has officially announced the result on 6th May 2019 for the exam which was held from 15th February 2019 to 4th April 2019 on its official website of www.cbseresults.nic.in Also, the CBSE has arranged various other modes to check the result, such as Digilocker, UMANG app, IVRS, Bing, Google platform, and various other online sites for checking the result for the students.

CBSE Class 10 results 2019 topper

The pass percentage was about 91.1%, and the total number of 13 students was topped with 499/500, and the girls outshine the boys with a pass percentage of 92.45%.

CBSE Class 10 Maths question paper

The 2019 question paper consists of 30 questions divided into four sections. All the questions were picked from the NCERT and the paper was easy to format. An increase of 33% of internal choice was observed

  • Section A comprises of 6 questions of 1 mark each.
  • Section B comprises of 6 questions of 2 marks each.
  • Section C comprises of 10 questions of 3 marks each.
  • Section D comprises of 8 questions of 4 marks each.

·   There was no overall choice, however, the internal choice has been provided in each mark question and the students were to attempt only one of the alternatives given in the paper.

How we check CBSE 10th Results?

CBSE hosts their results on the net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India. There are various methods for checking CBSE results such as Digilocker app, UMANG app, Digiresults, other mobile apps and even through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) or any other social media platform.

The students can access their results even from the CBSE official site. The steps are:-

1. Visit the official website of CBSE i.e. www.cbseresults.nic.in

2. Go to the portal section of the CBSE Exam result.

3. Under that go to the Secondary school examination (Class 10)

4. Enter all your mandatory details such as your roll number, DOB, School No., Admit card No.

5. Click on the Submit button.

6. Once you click on the submit button, your CBSE result will be displayed on the screen.

7. You will get 2 options to either download a softcopy or get a physical printed copy of the mark sheet.

8. Choose the option according to your needs.

Other methods to check CBSE results 2019

Students can also check for their CBSE results through different modes.

IVR

Students can use the IVR method via a call to check their result. The call is charged at 30p per minute/ per roll number). Students have to make a call to the below-mentioned numbers:

  • 54321202 (Airtel)

SMS

The candidates can also check their results via message/SMS. The SMS charges are 50p per SMS. To check using SMS students have to type ‘CBSE 10 [roll no]’ and sent the same to any of the numbers mentioned:

Students can visit the official website (www.cbseresults.nic.in) and (www.cbse.nic.in) to check their results.

DigiLocker

Students can register to DigiLocker account with their mobile number. DigiLocker account details will be given to the students through SMS on their registered mobile number with CBSE.

School Website

Now a day’s many schools put their student’s class 10th results on their school websites. Hence, students can also check for their results there.

CBSE Class 10 exam date

As per indiatoday.in the CBSE official said that the CBSE class 10 date sheets of 2020 will be released in the first week of January. The candidates can download the datasheets from the official website www.cbse.nic.in

CBSE Class 10 mark sheet

The hard copies of the class 10th mark sheet and certificates are issued by the CBSE to their respective schools. So, the students can get them from the school from where they have attended class 10. Also, CBSE has started to send their mark sheets and certificates on students’ Digilocker account. They can retrieve them by signing in and are available in downloadable pdf form.

1. Go to Digilockers’s registration page i.e. www.digilocker.gov.in. A window will ask the mobile number. Enter it and click the continue button.

2. An OTP will be sent on the entered number. Fill the OTP in the provided window space and click the Verify button.

3. Next window set down your username and password for your account.

4. Submit your Aadhar number and verify it through OTP or the fingerprint option.

5. Now, log in using your username and password.

6. Go to a profile page.

7. Click on the ‘Pull Partner Documents’ button in the left sidebar.

8. In the next two dropdowns will be found. In the first select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi’. In the next chose mark sheet i.e. SSC or Passing.

9. Enter your required details in the next window like Year of passing and Roll number, etc.

10.  After clicking on ‘Get Document’ your Marksheet/ Certificate will be downloaded. You can click on the “Save to Locker” button to save it in the Digilocker account.

CBSE Class 10 result percentage

The CBSE Class 10 results for 2019 were declared on 6th May 2019 with the outshine of the girls by 2.31% than the boys. About 48 students have scored 95% and above while 275 students have scored 90% and above in the 2019 exam. The number of candidates for the compartmental exams was 138705.

CBSE Class 10 result website

CBSE hosts their results on the net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India. Soon after the official declaration of the results, students can visit the board’s website to check their scorecard and it’s been recommended that they download the softcopy in a PDF format.

·   They can visit the online portal of www.cbseresults.nic.in

·   Under the Secondary school examination section of class 10, the results can be checked by entering all the mandatory details like roll no, dob, school no., admit card no.

·   The students who feel that their efforts are not justified truly in scorecard can apply for rechecking/ re-evaluation online.

·   If a student fails, the compartmental examination is held a few months after the declaration of the results and students can fill the application form online and pay the requisite amount online for the exam.

Haryana CBSE Class 10 results

Haryana has achieved a good result in 2019 for the Class 10 CBSE result. The top rankers from the Haryana State have got marks from 499 to 497. There are around Top 13 students under Top 97 list from the state of Haryana, Panchkula region. All top 13 are the girls belonging from the same region.

Guwahati CBSE Class 10 results

The CBSE Class 10 results were announced on Monday afternoon recording a 12% rise in pass percentage from 62.29 last year to the 74.49 this year. The topper marks were 498 belonging to the northeast region of Guwahati.

The overall pass percentage of students from the northeast has been inched up to 74.49% the performance of boys was marginally better with a pass percentage of 74.61%. On the other hand side, the pass percentage of the girls from the northeast stood at 74.36%.

Gujarat CBSE Class 10 results

The Guwahati has estimated the 74.49% passing rate for the CBSE Class 10 results. The Top 4 students got the marks to range from 499-496  of which Aryan Jha was the topper in the Gujarat state bearing 499/500 marks from Nand Vidya Niketan School.

Overall, Gujarat has seen a nice result. At DPS Gandhinagar, 68 scored above 90%. The Zebar school for children has scored 90% and above by the 15 students. Similarly St. Kabir school 102 students have scored above 92% while the students from the Delhi Public School have secured 100% result.

Bhubaneshwar CBSE Class 10 results

The Bhubaneshwar has seen the 92.32% passing rate in the year of 2019 CBSE Class 10 results. Also, the Bhubaneshwar was ranked 6 in the Region wise Pass percentage for all the subjects. The Top scorer was Saiuditi Raut securing 497/500 marks in the exam.
