The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world's most popular English language proficiency test. This test will open doors to a world of academic and professional opportunity in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, the USA, and many other foreign countries.  The IELTS test is offered across 50 test city locations in India. You may book your test at any of the 34 IDP India IELTS Registration Centers nearby you. It is always recommended to the candidate to register in advance so that he/she does not miss out on the date he/she wishes to take the test. In India, the test is offered four times a month in 38 cities. IELTS exam is conducted by the British Council and IDP in India. The test is conducted at the same time and on the same day all over the country. The test centers in India are well-equipped with all the things required. Computer-delivered IELTS test centers are now available across 7 cities in India.

1. What are the versions of IELTS exams offered by the test centers? Are they available in India?

All the versions of the IELTS exams are available on the test centers. Yes, there are various test centers available in India for the IELTS.

2. When will a candidate get to know about the test center venue?

You will get to know about your test center venue just 4-5 days before the IELTS exam.

3. Is the test center for Listening, Reading and Writing and Speaking different?

All the sections except speaking are held on one day and at one center whereas the speaking test is held some other day and some other center or same.

5. How many times can one sit for IELTS?
